Yes Anthony you are correct. Most people can see through the media. It is kind of like a circus sometimes would you not agree?

The media is my only source of information on world events. It not only effects my perception, it tells me that world events occur. It is up to me to get different viewpoints from assorted media sources, compare them to whatever personal experience I may have, and decide what, if anything I must do.

Since I can’t go and check out everything first hand, I have to depend upon the media. However, I avoid mainstream media as it is part of the corporatocracy and spews disinformation and censors heavily to protect its financial interests. I rely on independent news sources that dig deep and often take great risks for news and give intelligent analysis. It takes lots of time to stay informed.

The media considerably affects my perception, in fact the media is everyone’s link to the outside world, from local newspapers to internet.
The manner or ’slant’ on how the media presents the ‘news’ on world affairs can influence but I think individuals are sophisticated enough to read through political, racial, religious biases!

The network that you watch will tell alot about how you view the world, some are leaning towards the right, some lean towards the left and some stay in the center. You should always listen and view what you see with a ‘grain of salt’ and decide yourself what you feel is your perception of the world.
